Company History

In 1996 the Company has been founded in Frankfurt by its 

owner Albert Medaillon as a retail shop for mobile phones.

At the end of 1998 the classical retail shop  has been enlarged into a wholesale store.

From 1999 to this day the constant growing of our Company  led us to the supply of 

about 1000 specialist dealers in Germany  as well as to increasing international commerce.

In February 2000 the Company moved to its present-day headquarter in Hattersheim.

In January 2002 the Company’s name changed from „Medaillon Telekommunikation“

into „Medaillon GmbH & Co.KG“ (private limited liability company and limited partnership) 

with a joint stock of 600.000 Euro.

Present sales data:  

In 1999 „Medaillon Telekommunikation“ had a turnover from 4,1 million Euro.

In 2000 the turnover increased to 17 million Euro which have been topped in 2001 by 22 million Euro.

Since 2002 Turnover is between 25 and 35 million Euro.

Scopes of business:

Supply of classical specialist dealers with current market prices. Weekly changing price-

and offering-lists of all available mobile phones. Fast disposal of goods. International commerce in

huge number of places, financed with own capital, in and outside Europe.

Firmen-Historie

1996 in Frankfurt gegründet durch Firmeninhaber 

Albert Medaillon als Einzelhandel für Mobiltelefone.

Seit Ende 1998 Erweiterung des klassischen 

Fachhandelsgeschäft um den Geschäftsbereich Großhandel .

1999 bis heute stetiger Ausbau des Geschäftsbereichs Großhandel 

für Mobiltelefone. Dies führte dazu, dass neben dem klassischen 

Großhandelsbereich Betreuung von rund 1000 Fachhändlern in Deutschland, auch 

ein international ausgerichtetes Postengeschäft zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnt.

Februar 2000 Umzug der Firma zum heutigen eigenen Geschäftsitz in Hattersheim.

01.01.2002 Umfirmierung der Medaillon Telekommunikation in

Médaillon GmbH & Co KG mit einen Stammkapital von 600.000

im März 2002 das erste mal Aussteller auf der CeBIT:

Aktuelle Umsatzdaten:

1999 erwirtschaft die Medaillon Telekom einen Umsatz von 4,1 Mio. €

2000 wurde ein Umsatzsteigerung auf 17 Mio. € erwirtschaftet, welche nochmals

im Jahre 2001 auf über 22 Mio. € gesteigert werden konnte.

  Seit 2002 liegt der jährliche Umsatz zwischen 25 und 35 Mio. Euro

Geschäftsfelder:

Internationales Postengeschäft in Großstückzahlen, aus 

eigener Liquidität finanziert, im europäischen und außereuropäischen Ausland.
